EB Feline Rehoming does not euthanize unless absolutely necessary to prevent unavoidable suffering. Because we are so committed to saving the lives of all our cats and kittens, our expenses can be a lot higher than we receive from normal donations. Our most recent Guardian Angel kitty is Farley. We were very worried about this little guy earlier this year. He came to us as a stray on July 22, but soon showed chronic upper respiratory infection. After several vet visits, and a variety of medications, his condition continued to worsen, so we took him to NIVES on 10/22/18 for a CT scan. He had surgery to clear his densely-packed sinus and ear cavity. No polyp was found and his deteriorating condition was attributed to a virus. Unfortunately, after surgery, he developed pneumonia and his condition worsened. That’s the sad part, but he is finally doing better now: eating,
playing, and running through the house, obviously delighted to be able to run, play and breathe at the same time! EB Feline Rehoming incurred $4,000 in medical expenses for Farley, with more to come since he is still on meds, and has vet visits scheduled through November. We are a small rescue funded by adoption fees and donations, so we are asking for your help. Please donate to our Guardian Angel fund, so we can replenish our coffers after Farley’s bills, and continue our mission of saving homeless kittens.
